Whether you are attempting to learn the game of Go or just improve you current skills, the Seattle Go Center has many ways in assisting your educational goals. Beginner classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 are oriented towards the uninitiated and raw beginner of go. Tuesday is a kid's class, but all are welcome. Using the Capture game, a simplified version of Go, and small boards (9x9 and 13x13), Jon Boley assists new players to aquire the skills neccessary to play Go on the 19x19 board.

A more advanced class is offered on Sundays at 5:00pm. This class is oriented towards studying fuseki and analyzing professional games. In addition, tactical problems are looked at each week. This class is open to all players.
