Working on your game? Want some insight into how professional's play the game? It is hard to find a better way to improve ones game than with in person instruction from a Professional Go player. But Yang Yilun is not just any professional Go player, since his arrival in the United States, Mr. Yang has been crafting his teaching technique for American Go players. An early realization that most American Go players needed a reason for why a move was good or bad, Mr. Yang has developed those reasons and presents them in various lectures.
Combining lecture and game analysis, Mr. Yang will use the lessons learned during the seminar as a basis for analyzing actual games played by participants in the workshop.
The workshop will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Start time on Saturday is dependent on Mr. Yang's flight schedule and may be changed later. Expect the Seminar to start in the 9:00 to 10:00 AM time frame. Sunday the seminar will start at 9:00 AM and end in the late afternoon.
Cost: $50 for lifetime, yearly members and youth, $75 otherwise.
