Seattle Ing Championship Qualifier Tournament

Note: Current full AGA members playing in the open section may qualify for points that earn an invitation to the North American Ing Championship tournament at the Go Congress, where 1^st prize is $2,000. Top qualifiers will also receive free registration at the Congress (a $250 value).

A win without a tie guarantees an invitation. More points may be won by playing in another qualifier event, of which there will be two played on the Internet. (Points from only two events will count.)

Entry fees: Open section $30 B section $25 C section $20 D section $20

$5 discount each for full AGA membership, Go Center annual or life membership, Youth 18 and under

AGA membership is $30 ($15 youth). Go Center annual membership is $200 (100 youth/student)

Prizes A section: 1^st $200, 2^nd $100, 3^rd $50, 4^th $30 (Open section – no handicap)

B section 1^st $75, 2^nd $40 , 3^rd $25, 4^th $30 Dan players

C section Choice of books for all with a score of 2 or better 1 – 9 Kyu

D section Choice of books for all with a score of 2 or better 10 Kyu and up.

Time limits: Basic time: 45 minutes

Overtime: Canadian – 15 in 5, first period then increase by 5 each period
